Clean, Careful, Craftsman Interior Painting

Interior painting for Colorado homes takes more than a quick coat of paint. We protect your floors and furnishings, repair and prep your walls, and apply interior paint systems designed to hold up to high-elevation living. From touch-ups to whole-home repaints, we show up when we say we will and leave you with crisp lines and durable finishes you’ll enjoy for years.

Whole-Home & Room Interior Painting

Whether you’re freshening a single room or repainting your entire mountain home, we plan each interior painting project around how you actually use the space. We coordinate wall, ceiling, and trim work so everything ties together and looks intentional, not pieced together.

Wall/Ceiling/Trim Systems

Interior painting works best as a system, not a one-off wall. We can repaint ceilings, walls, doors, baseboards, window trim, and casings so the whole room feels cohesive. You get consistent color, sheen, and detailing from floor to ceiling.

Paint Products

We select interior paint products that are low-odor, washable, and suited to busy mountain homes. High-traffic areas like entries, hallways, kitchens, and stairwells get durable finishes that are easier to wipe down and keep looking fresh. After 3 decades of testing different brands, we prefer and trust Benjamin Moore and Wood Iron Wood Finishes.

Stair painting and handrails

Stairs and handrails see daily wear, so we treat them with extra care. We handle masking, sanding, and coating of treads, risers, stringers, and handrails, using interior paints and clear finishes that balance grip, durability, and appearance.

Cabinet Painting & Refinishing

Cabinet painting is one of the fastest ways to update a kitchen, bath, or mudroom without the cost and disruption of a full remodel. We combine thorough prep with pro-grade products to give your cabinets a smooth, durable finish that stands up to real-world use.

Our Cabinet Painting Process

Good cabinet painting starts with good prep. We remove doors and hardware, degrease, sand, prime, and apply finish coats with professional tools and techniques. The result is a cabinet finish that looks intentional—not like a weekend DIY project.

Cabinet refinishing for wood grain lovers

If you love the look of wood grain, cabinet refinishing may be the right choice. We can clean, lightly sand, and recoat existing wood cabinets with clear or tinted finishes that refresh the color, add protection, and keep the character of the wood.

Kitchens, baths, built-ins & mudrooms.

We provide cabinet painting and refinishing for kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, built-ins, and mudroom storage. We coordinate cabinet finishes with your walls, trim, and doors so all of your interior painting work feels like it belongs together.

FAQs – Interior Painting & Cabinets

Find answers to commonly asked questions about our interior painting & cabinet staining services.

What is the typical process for an interior painting project?

We start with a walkthrough to understand your goals and any problem areas. On project day, we protect floors and furnishings, repair minor drywall issues, caulk gaps, and spot-prime as needed. Then we apply interior paint in the agreed colors and sheens, followed by a final walkthrough to make sure you’re happy with the results.

Do I need to move furniture before interior painting starts?

We ask that smaller personal items, decor, and electronics be removed from the work area. We can help move larger furniture a safe distance away from the walls and then cover it, along with floors and fixtures, so everything stays clean during the interior painting process.

Can you help me choose interior paint colors and sheens?

Absolutely. Lots of our customers ask for color consultations. We can offer practical suggestions on interior paint colors and finishes based on how much light the room gets, how you use the space, and how durable the finish needs to be. If you already have colors in mind, we can match or coordinate with your existing palette.

How long does cabinet painting usually take?

Most cabinet painting projects take several days, depending on the size and complexity of the kitchen or room. Prep, priming, number of coats needed, and proper drying times are built into the schedule so the new finish has time to cure and perform the way it should.

Will my cabinets look smooth, or will I see brush marks?

Our goal with cabinet painting is a smooth, professional finish. We use careful prep, quality primers and paints, back brushing techniques, and appropriate application methods to minimize brush marks and roller texture. Existing wood grain, previous finishes, and cabinet condition can influence the final look, and we’ll discuss that with you upfront.

Do you repair drywall and trim before interior painting?

Yes. As part of interior painting, we typically address small nail pops, minor cracks, and small holes, along with caulking gaps at trim where needed. If there are larger repairs required, we can discuss options and include that work in your estimate. Learn more about Drywall Repair and Painting.
